Job Description

In-depth understanding of RDBMS concepts and constructs
MySQL concepts and implementation
Design, create, and implement database systems that are stable, reliable, and effective based on the end user’s requirements.
Create scripts to build new or modified database objects.
Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views etc.
Ability to optimize stored procedures by running query analyzer tools for better performance
Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
Ability to develop data models and ERDs.
Ability to support long term goals along with immediate performance concerns.
Discuss with the client every day, work very closely with every team-member, and implement appropriate database requirements.
Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver.

Qualifications / Desired Profile

Graduate in Computer Science

Proven and must have at least 3-5 years of experience working as Database developer or related role.
Must have extensive hands-on coding experience in SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, views etc.
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
An ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment.
Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal.

Knowledge In (Good to have but not mandatory):

AWS concepts (RDS)
Datawarehouse concepts (AWS Redshift, Crawlers, Glue)
